Ceramic Sculptural Form 1

Ceramic sculptural forms are built using a mixture of techniques. Slabs of clay may be imprinted from a location and combined with other surfaces. Sometimes wheelthrown pieces are reshaped and combined. Clay may be textured with pattern and progressively stretched for a particular visual effect.

For this piece the surface is moulded off actual rocks from the Margaret River area.
